Product Enhancements – Release Notes September 2024
We are happy to announce some new enhancements & fixes:

Released – September 25, 2024
Goals
- Enhancement: Added functionality to view archived goal records by export.
- UI Enhancement: Added a link to goal help blog in the goal modal.
Projects
List View
- Enhancement: Made fields editable directly from the table (Status, effort, impact, priority, health & Notes).
Tasks Tab
- Enhancement: Added comment icons next to attachments and notes that expand beneath the task when clicked, enhancing user experience.
Task Edit Modal
- Enhancement: Task progress is now shown beside task status. Status and progress automatically sync based on updates (e.g., “Done” = 100%, “To Do” = 0%, any progress % sets status to “Doing”).
Status Reports Tab
- Enhancement: Added option to include new team members when entering an email address in the send email row.
Project Benefits Tab
- UI Enhancement: Display three prior years above the current selection with grey background for the current year in year selection dropdown.
Idea Funnel
To Prioritize Tab
- Enhancement: To Prioritize tab shows ideas by month in bar chart with default sort and number matching the tab count.
Recent Tab
- Enhancement: Recent Ideas tab now shows a stacked bar chart by project status for each month.
Metrics
- Added hover-over information for Direction (Bigger Is Better vs Smaller Is Better vs Middle Is Best) .
Grouped Projects Summary Tree View
- Enhancement: Added a display option in Projects by Goal Tree View to switch to Projects by Category Tree View, and renamed the page to Grouped Projects Summary Tree View.
Daily Update
- Added a new section for ‘My Doing Tasks’ in projects section.
General Updates/ Bug Fixes
- Resolved issue where adding a tag to a task from the task link was not functioning properly.
- Due date of task will not change to current day when owner is changed.
- Resolved issue where data was not displayed when the sub-department count check was disabled.
- Resolved blank space issue above ‘Select’ option causing effort impact priorities to save blank.

General
- NEW feature: Added setting to choose between USA and EUR number format styles.
Project Benefits
- NEW feature: Added editable “Description” field in Project Benefits, which is now visible and editable in the Project Benefit tab on project pages.

List View
- UI Enhancement: Workflow column now displays inactive workflows with ‘inactive’ text in red next to the workflow name.
- UI Enhancement: Added “Best Practice” flag icon to the name column.
Task Tab
- Enhancement: Added “Add New Task” option to group header menu.
Charter Tab
- Task group tile behavior updated to open task edit modal on click, except for status and date fields.
Task Timeline Tab
- Enhancement: Added options to expand/collapse, hide completed tasks, and filter by user.
Idea Funnel
Ideas Tab
- UX Enhancement: Bar chart now shows Ideas by Priority with clickable bars for filtering.
Activated Ideas (Projects) Tab
- UX Enhancement: Activated Projects Tab now uses Resource Loading Chart with matching numbers displayed below in the idea list.
Huddleboards
Custom Huddleboard
- Task Tile: Added log file to display % complete of group on huddleboard task tile.
- Added print option on custom huddleboards to print the view.
Search
- Enhancement: Added “Best Practice” flag and filter option on the search results page.
General Updates/ Bug Fixes
- Metrics with direction “Middle is Best” now saves correctly.
- Added export/print PDF feature for Project Summary and Benefit Tree views.

Projects
Teams Tab
- Updated project teams page: Transferring roles now changes the old project leader’s edit right to ‘edit-all’ and role to ‘member’.
Project Portfolio Report
- Sorting now works correctly on all Gantt charts (Portfolio Timeline, Task Timeline).
- Adjusted all portfolio timelines to prevent projects from collapsing after adding a task or group by ‘+’ button .
Team Engagement Report
- Enhancement: Added multi-currency support to show converted values for benefit totals, with hover-over displaying sub-totals.
Huddleboards
BSC Huddleboard
- UI Enhancement: Improved UI stability on BSC huddleboard when more than 3 metrics with interval notes are attached.
General Updates/ Bug Fixes
- Made the Idea Funnel table header sticky for improved navigation on the Idea list page.
- Enhanced print functionality in Project/Idea Charter to prevent overlapping and ensure smooth printing.
- Category filter now functions correctly on the XMatrix details page.
Released – September 04, 2024
New Idea
- Enhancement: Updated New Idea and External Idea processes to set the idea owner based on department settings.
- If a department owner is set, the department owner becomes the idea owner, and the creator will have edit own rights. Existing behavior remains unchanged if no department owner is set.
